‘Small details’ can have a great impact in the vaccination process of newly arrived migrants! In Germany, the standard certificate of vaccination is in German, English and French – languages that many newly arrived migrants and refugees do not understand. The international vaccination certificate created by Ethno- Medical Center adds the vaccination information also in Arabic, Dari, Farsi, Kurdish or Pashtu. A ‘small detail’ that improves transparency, strengthens migrants health literacy and can enhance willingness towards vaccinations!
