Multilingual and easy-to-understand tools: informed consent and information materials

The Italian AcToVax4NAM team, with the support of partners from the Vaccine Coordination Unit and the Protection of Foreigners and Vulnerable Communities Unit (Local Health Authority Asl Roma2), developed multilingual information materials for Vaccination Centres staff of LHA Asl Roma2 to facilitate the communication of vaccine related information to Newly Arrived Migrants.

In summary, following materials are available:

  • form for collecting informed consent (customised for the Asl Roma2);
  • short checklist for vaccination pre-triage;
  • post-vaccination advice for children;
  • post-vaccination advice for adults.

All materials are available in 9 languages (Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, English, French, Romanian, Somali, Spanish and Urdu), in addition to Italian.
